Netflix has released a trailer for its upcoming murder mystery drama series Fool me once. The series centers on a woman who finds herself investigating the murder of her husband.
The story follows “Maya as she tries to deal with the brutal murder of her husband Joe. However, when Maya installs a nanny camera, she is shocked to see a man she recognizes in her house. He is her husband, who she thought was dead. From there, Sergeant Sami Kierce leads the murder investigation into Joe’s death. But he has his own secrets too.
The eight-episode series comes from Nicola Shindler (After the flood, deadly heat) and writer Danny Brocklehurst (Brassico, come home). He is the protagonist Michelle Keegan, Adeel Akhtar, Richard Armitage, Joanna Lumley, Emmett J. ScanlanAND Dino Fetscher.
Fool me once is the eighth collaboration between author Harlan Coben and Netflix. Other adaptations include The stranger, SafeAND Stay close. The series will debut on January 1, 2024.
