Director Denis Villeneuve has high hopes for it Dune: Part TwoRelease is currently scheduled for March 1, 2024 after checking several possible dates.
But at a South Korean press conference, Villeneuve hinted that there is more to come: he has almost finished writing the script for a third part dune Movie.
“[Dune Messiah] is currently being written,” said Villeneuve. “The script is almost finished, but not finished yet. It will take a while.”
Villeneuve said the third installment will follow Paul Atreides as he goes through “the end of.” [his] Travel.”
Plans for a turnaround dune Turning it into a trilogy has long been Villeneuve’s wish. “If I manage to do a trilogy, that would be the dream,” he said rich magazine last summer.
But before part three comes, Villeneuve has high hopes for the second film.
“For me, this film is much better than part one,” Villeneuve said. “There is something more alive in it.” There is a relationship with the characters. I tried to achieve an intensity and quality of emotion that I didn’t achieve with part one and that I achieved with part two. I’m not saying the film is perfect, but I’m much happier with part two than part one. I can’t wait to share it with fans and moviegoers.”
Dune: Part Two sees Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya return, along with Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, Austin Butler, Florence Pugh, Dave Bautista, Christopher Walken, Léa Seydoux, Stellan Skarsgård and Javier Bardem.
