Netflix has released an exciting trailer complete with Michelle Yeohthe upcoming dark comedy action crime series The Sun Brothers, which sounds like fun! The new trailer offers more story details and features some action-packed footage. The trailer sees Yeoh having to tell one of his sons that his family is the head of a criminal organization and that a rival group wants to kill him.
In the story, “When the head of a powerful Taiwanese triad is shot by a mysterious assassin, his eldest son, the legendary assassin Charles “Chairleg” Sun (Justin Chien) travels to Los Angeles to protect his mother, Eileen (Michelle Yeoh), and his naive younger brother, Bruce (Sam Song Li) – who until now has been completely shielded from the truth about his family. But as Taipei’s deadliest corporations and a rising new faction clash for dominance, Charles, Bruce, and their mother must heal the wounds caused by their separation and figure out what brotherhood and family truly mean before one of their countless enemies kill them. All.”
The series was co-created by Brad Falchuk AND Byron Wuand he is also the protagonist Highdee Kuan, Joon Lee, Alice Hewkin, Jon Xue Zhang, Jenny Yang, Madison HuAND Rodney A. Netflix debuts The Sun Brothers on January 4, 2024.
