If Snyder is truly passionate about making this thing, I’m sure Netflix will give him the opportunity to make it if he wants. Snyder was also working on a film adaptation of the controversial Howard Chaykin comic Black Kiss. Snyder had the rights to the comic, which was published in the late 1980s, and had attempted to adapt it as a television series, but it never got beyond the pilot script he wrote.
