AMC Theaters has announced that it will host a re-release of Bruce Willis’ Die Hard on December 8th. Just in time for the holidays and all of you who want to celebrate with an action-packed Christmas movie. Even if you don’t consider it a Christmas movie, it’s still a great action movie!
Die Hard follows New York cop John McClane as he unwittingly becomes the only hope for a group of hostages taken by terrorists during a Christmas party in a Los Angeles skyscraper. As the situation worsens, McClane finds himself in a one-man battle against the ruthless villain Hans Gruber, wonderfully played by Alan Rickmann.
The film redefined the action genre thanks to Willis’ iconic performance as the resourceful and resilient hero. Until this film, we had never seen an action hero like John McClane before.
I love this movie and can’t wait to see it on the big screen again!
