First look at photos from Guy Ritchie’s Netflix series THE GENTLEMEN based on the hit film

Netflix has released the first photos of Guy Ritchiethe next Netflix series, The Lordsbased on the director’s hit 2019 film of the same name. Ritchie created and executive produced the series, directed the first two episodes and co-wrote the screenplay Matteo Read.

The show follows Eddie Horniman (Teo Giacomo), who unexpectedly inherits his father’s luxurious country estate, only to discover that it is part of a massive cannabis empire. Unfortunately for Eddie, a group of rather unsavory characters from the British criminal underworld want to take part in the operation. According to the official synopsis, “Eddie tries to play gangsters at their own game. However, when he gets sucked into the world of crime, he starts to get a taste for it.”

The cast includes Kaya Scodelario (To crawl, The pale horse), Daniele Eng (I hate Suzie), Joely Richardson (Lady Chatterley’s lover), Lock, stock and two smoking barrels actor Vinnie Jones, Giancarlo Esposito (breaking Bad, Better call Saulo), Chanel Cresswell (This is England), Michele Vu, Max Beesley (Hijack), Jasmine Blackborow (Maria Antonietta), Harry Goodwin (In his hands: the emergency), Dar Salim (The deal), Pearce Quigley (Detectors), Ruby SearAND Pietro Serafinowicz (The mint).
