Must-see 1978 TV special for THE MAKING OF SUPERMAN: THE MOVIE

Here’s a must-see TV special from 1978 called The Making of Superman: The Movie and offers a behind-the-scenes look at the production of the classic Richard Donner-direct film Superman: The Movie.

The video explores the making of the film and features lots of great behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with the film’s cast and crew. It’s especially fun to watch Christopher Reeve talk about the film and how he got the role. If you’ve never seen this special before, it’s a real treat for movie buffs and Superman fans.

Superman: The Movie is one of my favorite superhero movies ever made. It was a groundbreaking cinematic achievement and perfectly captured the essence of the iconic character, Superman. Christopher Reeve’s portrayal of the Man of Steel is legendary, embodying both the character’s strength and vulnerability.

The film’s story weaved a narrative that showcased Superman’s origin, his moral compass, and his final battle against Lex Luthor. Then, of course, there’s John Williams’ majestic score. The memorable tagline, “Will You Believe a Man Can Fly,” helped make this film a fan favorite.

Anyway, enjoy the video below!
