FX has released a new trailer for its upcoming mystery thriller series A murder at the end of the world. This series looks really interesting and comes from directors Brit Marling AND Zal Batmanglijwho are the creators of The OA series and collaborators on the films The sound of my voice AND The East.
The series is the protagonist Emma Corrin as Darby Hart, a Gen Z tech-savvy amateur sleuth who’s been compared to Sherlock Holmes. In the series, “Darby and eight other guests are invited by a reclusive billionaire to attend a retreat in a remote and dazzling location. When one of the other guests is found dead, Darby must use all his skills to prove it was murder against a wave of competing interests before the killer takes another life.
The series also has a great cast that includes Harris Dickinson, Clive Owen, Alice Braga, Joan Chen, Raúl Esparza, Jermaine Fowler, Ryan J. Haddad, Pegah Ferydoni, Javed Khan, Louis Cancelmi, Edoardo Ballerini, Britian Seibert, Christopher Gurr, Kellan Tetlow, Daniel OlsonAND Neal Huff.
The 7-episode series will begin streaming November 14th exclusively on Hulu.
