Prime Video has released the first trailer for the DC animated holiday action comedy Good little Batman. It looks like this movie will deliver a fun and delightful Batman adventure as Batman and young Damian Wayne spring into action to save Christmas in Gotham City. This Batman movie has a very different and playful animation style.
In Good little BatmanWhen young Damian Wayne finds himself alone in Wayne Manor on Christmas Eve, he must transform into “Little Batman” to defend his home and Gotham City from crooks and supervillains intent on destroying the holidays.
Director Mike Roth also recently spoke about the film, saying, “Because it’s a Christmas story, telling it through the eyes of a child seemed appropriate. Typically, Damian is a teenager struggling with good and evil. Even though this era An interesting idea that was initially explored, we landed on a younger Damian. We decided to turn the clock back from Damian’s petulant nature to a time when he was more innocent and wide-eyed.”
Roth continued, “The idea of a very small boy in this huge city aspiring to be Batman like his father was a really fun place to start. It gave us the heart and comedy we were looking for and opened the window for a Christmas in Gotham City like we’ve never seen before.”
Regarding his portrayal of the Joker in the new animated film, Roth said: “He’s heavily inspired by Bob Fosse’s portrayal of the Serpent in the 1974 version of The Little Prince. Our Joker is a perfect enemy for a little boy because he’s basically like a big, grumpy child himself: persuasive, cunning, and prone to quick, irrational tantrums. His temper goes from cheerful to murderous faster than you can say, ‘Holy nightmare, Batman.'”

Animation to bring a variety of interpretations of the Batman mythos to our global Prime Video customers.”
Cheerful little Batman stars Yonas Kibreab (Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi) as Damian and features the voices of Luke Wilson (DC’s Stargirl), James Cromwell (Big Hero 6: the series), AND David Hornsby (It’s always sunny in Philadelphia).
Mike Roth (Regular show) directs from a screenplay by Morgan Evans (The Teen Titans Go!) AND Giacomo Ricci (Batman: the catastrophe that struck Gotham). Roth also serves as executive producer alongside Sam Register (Looney Tunes cartoons).
