Larry David’s HBO series CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM could end with season 12… It might not

Every season of HBO Curb your enthusiasm threatens to be the last, but every time, Larry David he comes back and says he’s ready to do another one. THE Seinfeld the creator is a comedic genius and plays a wacky version of himself on the show which is about to air its twelfth season. We previously reported that the show will likely end after this season, as we have with previous seasons, but we also reported how the door is certainly not closed on a return any time soon after.

HBO chief Casey Bloys addressed the speculation when asked about it during the network’s programming presentation this week:

“We generally leave that up to Larry, and I think he’s thinking about what he wants to do. He knows it was an open invitation, so I think he’ll decide if he wants to do more or if this will be the last season, I would say before it airs.

Executive producer Jeff Schaffer said in an August 2022 interview with IndieWire:

“When you sign up to do a season of Curb, you sign up to do the last season of Curb. And I finally understood why. It’s because when Larry does a season, he puts into that season all the ideas that he really likes. So at the end of the season there’s this hole – there’s no ideas that he really likes – so how could he do another season? He’s the only person on the planet who doesn’t think he’ll have any other good ideas.

Larry David always has more ideas because life keeps happening and he keeps finding ways to make it fun and insanely awkward, as only he can! Season 12 of Curb your enthusiasm coming soon to HBO. We will keep you updated.
