This year marks the fiftieth anniversary of William Friedkinis a terrifying horror film The exorcistand a man named Paul Davis got his hands on some extremely rare and previously unseen footage of the production.
The video below shows us the rare and disturbing footage of Demon Pazuzu’s original makeup test with the actress Eileen Dietz. The image of this demon in the movie scared the living daylights out of me when I first saw this movie as a child. I will never forget the petrifying fear that passed through my body. It’s really cool to see this makeup audition.
Davis, who directed films such as Beware the Moon: Remembering an American Werewolf in London AND The Body and Mysterious Anniecalls the clip the “Holy Grail of scraps from The exorcist”, and promised more takes.
