I recently got around to watching the latest episode of South Park, “Panderverse” and in it Cartman realizes that his biggest nightmare is being replaced by a “different woman”. Speaking to Mom in the episode, Cartmen said, “It wasn’t just me, they were taking all my favorite people and replacing them with different women complaining about the patriarchy.”
At that point, Cartman pleads with his mother, asking, “Will you check under the bed to make sure there aren’t any Disney executives under there? I’m scared mom! Please, please, look and make sure Kathleen Kennedy is not under my bed!
Cartman’s mother replies: “Kathleen Kennedy is not under your bed. I told you there are no Disney executives who replace everyone you love with different women who complain about the patriarchy. Now be a big boy.
Later in the special, Kathleen Kennedy shows up and reveals to Cartman that she and Disney CEO Bob Iger have been using an AI artifact known as “the Pander Stone”, which has the power to make the same movie over and over again, appealing to the masses. Kenndy ends up using the Pander Stone so much that it fractures the multiverse with Cartman and Kennedy sent to the wrong universe.
After Kennedy explains all this to Cartman, he tells her, “That’s actually the best explanation I’ve heard for why Disney movies suck now.” You can watch that clip below.
