Marvel Comics dives into the Alien sandbox and tells a new story in a limited series titled Alien: black, white and blood. It will be a four-issue anthology series and the first issue will mark the beginning of “Utopia” and launch a “generation-spanning saga that will be told across all four issues.”
The comic features writers Collin Kelly, Jackson Lanzing, Ryan CadyAND Stefania Phillips with the artists Michael Dowling, Devmalya PramanikAND Marcelo Ferreira.
Previous installments of BLACK, WHITE & RED “have spotlighted deadly icons, from Wolverine to Darth Vader. Now it’s time to unleash the Xenomorphs in this epic format! Marvel Comics and 20th Century Studios present this anthology kill-fest with harrowing artistic detail, brought to life in bold, black, white, red – and, when things get even more dangerous – GREEN!
In the series, “Soaring through space to find a perfect world, a society descends into darkness as it is shaped by the fear of the Xenomorphs!” He will also “explore the limits of compassion in ‘Maternal Instincts’.”
On a deep spaceship, “a little girl is the sole survivor of a massacre of Xenomorphs, and her only hope for salvation is the ship’s comforting and guiding AI computer unit.”
The debut issue of the Alien anthology teams Phillips and Ferreira for “The Hunt.” In this story, “Xenomorphs become the main attraction when Weyland-Yutani offers wealthy thrill-seekers the chance to hunt down the deadliest species in the galaxy.” Marvel promises a “story of courage, glory and the most exhilarating of games.”
Alien: Black, White & Blood #1 goes on sale February 7, 2024 from Marvel Comics and 20th Century Studios.
