DC Studios has released the first full director’s trailer James Wan’S Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. The trailer is full of action and adventure, and at times, things seem to get pretty silly. It seems like they were going for a lighter tone here, almost mimicking the silliness of Taika Waititi’s Thor films.
I wasn’t the biggest fan of the first Aquaman movie, but it made over a billion dollars at the box office. Warner Bros. would sure love to see this happen again! We’ll just have to wait and see how it turns out. In the meantime, you can watch this trailer and see if the film is worth watching in the cinema.
There are some funny moments in the trailer and it looks like it’s going to be a wild movie. I’m keeping my expectations low on this movie, because I don’t think it will be any better than the first movie. Let us know what you think!
In the film, “Having failed to defeat Aquaman the first time, Black Manta, still driven by the need to avenge his father’s death, will stop at nothing to defeat Aquaman once and for all,” the official synopsis of Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. law. “This time Black Manta is more formidable than ever, as he wields the power of the mythical Black Trident, which unleashes an ancient and malevolent force. To defeat him, Aquaman will turn to his imprisoned brother Orm, the former king of Atlantis, to forge an unlikely alliance. Together, they must put aside their differences to protect their kingdom and save Aquaman’s family and the world from irreversible destruction.
Jason Momoa plays Aquaman in the film and he joins him Patrick Wilson like Orm, Amber heard like Mera, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II in the role of Black Manta, Nicole Kidman as Atlanta, Dolph Lundgren as king Nereus and Randall Park as Dr. Stephen Shin.
Warner Bros. will release the film in theaters on December 20.
