A teaser trailer for the dark drama has been released May Decemberwith Academy Award-winning actresses Natalie Portman (State of the garden, Jackie) AND Juliana Moore (Stupid, crazy love, Alice again), as well as Charles Melton, Piper Curda, Elizabeth Yu, Gabriel Chung, Cory Michael Smith, D. W. MoffettAND Lorenzo Orange.
The film is directed by Todd Haynes (Far from heaven, I’m not there, Carol), from a screenplay written by Samy Burch AND Mechanic Alex.
Sounds a lot like a late 1990s crime twist on sixth grade teacher Mary Kay Letourneau, who went to prison for rape for having a sexual affair with one of her students, whom she ended up marrying and had children with after having served. of her the sentence of her. It’s not exactly this story, but it sounds very similar.
In the film, “Twenty years after their notorious tabloid romance took the nation by storm, a married couple caves to the pressure when an actress arrives to research their past for a film.” Moore plays the much older woman in the story, Gracie Atherton-Yoo, and Portman plays an actress, Elizabeth Berry, who will play her in her own film about her life.
