Titan Books to Release New Book Offering In-Depth Behind-the-Scenes Look at Fan-Favorite 1982 Star Trek Movie Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan.

The book is titled Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan – The making of the classic film, and features rare photos, never-before-seen production illustrations, and exclusive interviews with those involved in the making of the film. Thanks to Gizmodo, we’ve got some of those photos and illustrations to share with you here, and it’s great to get a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the movie.

The description of the book reads: “A little over 40 years ago, Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan saw Kirk and the crew of the USS Enterprise take on one of the world’s greatest enemies Star Trek story, Khan Noonien Singh, as well as the death of Spock. Celebrate this milestone anniversary by diving deep into the stories behind this iconic sci-fi classic. This beautiful coffee table book is filled to the brim with rare and never-before-seen archival footage, behind-the-scenes photography, production illustrations, deleted scenes, script excerpts, and much more, along with new and exclusive interviews with the creatives, including director. Nicholas Mayer.

The book was written by John Tenuto AND Maria José Tenutoand this is the biography of their co-author: “John saw for the first time Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan at the Esquire Theater in Chicago on opening night with her late father Vincent. When John and Maria Jose got married, the theme of their wedding song was Star Trek: Traveler … They were featured on the Netflix TV show The toys that made us and that of the History Channel The central place: 55 years of Star Trek docuseries and have been invited to speak at the Official Star Trek Convention, the St. Louis Science Center and the future birthplace of James T. Kirk, Riverside, Iowa, and the city of Vulcan, Alberta, Canada.
