Apple TV+ has released a captivating trailer for their upcoming original series Still awakehero Antonia Thomas AND Craig Roberts as main characters Lisa and Danny, who join Blake Harrison, Lois Chimimba, Luke FetherstonAND Samantha Spiro. All episodes of the series were directed by John Addis in his directorial debut.
The synopsis of the series reads:
A new comedy series about two people who don’t sleep together (or don’t sleep at all). An impulsive and free-spirited aspiring illustrator named Lisa (Antonia Thomas), whose questions about her future as a child begin to keep her up at night, and socially anxious but gifted journalist Danny (Craig Roberts).
It looks really good and really sweet. I’ve had unbearable insomnia during the pandemic and have struggled to get it under control for the past couple of years, so I identify with this series. Check out the trailer below and see Still awake on Apple TV+ starting September 22.
