Netflix has released the full trailer for the final season of its animated adventure comedy, Disenchantment. Season 5 feels action-packed, and as if it’s giving fans plenty of story to end up with on a high. The series features the returning vocal talents of Have Jacobson (Bean), Eric Andre (Lights) and Nat Faxon (Elf) together with John DiMaggio, Tress MacNeille, Richard Ayade, Matt Berry, Noël Fielding, Meredith Hagner, David Herman, Sharon Horgan, Maurice La Marche, Lucia Montgomery AND Billy West.
The official synopsis for Part 5 reads:
“Everything ends here. The misadventures of the violent, hard-drinking Queen Bean, her feisty elf companion Elf, and her personal demon Luci culminate in an epic battle for Dreamland in the fifth and final installment of Matt Groening’s fantasy comedy series Disenchantment. To save Dreamland from Queen Dagmar’s evil rule, Bean must defeat her mother and escape a prophecy that she predicts will kill someone she loves. The stakes are higher than ever as our heroes face Satan, a headless corpse, an evil stintist, and most terrifying of all: their true destiny.
The end of the series comes like Groening’s simpsons enters its 35th season on Fox this October, and Futurama returns to Hulu on Aug. 7. Disenchantment Part Five premieres September 1 on Netflix. Check out the new trailer below and let us know if you’re excited to watch it!
