Ubisoft’s open world game Star Wars: Outlaws looks like it’s going to be a really great gaming experience. Since it was announced, more information has slowly been revealed about it, and in a recent report from IGN, it was shared that players will be working for notorious gangster Jabba the Hutt. The game will even let you cheat on him if that’s something you want to do! The report said:
We’ll also be spending a lot of time at Jabba’s palace, it seems, performing missions for the Hutt himself and navigating the criminal underworld of which he’s at the heart. And yes, it is possible not only to work for Jabba, but also to betray him, which of course has its consequences.
Then, it will be fun! The planet of Tattooine, where Jabba resides, will be one of the main settings of the game and, speaking of it, the director Julian Gerighty She said:
“If you close your eyes and give people the choice of going anywhere in Tatooine? Mos Eisley. And especially a watering hole in Mos Eisley. The opportunity is that you can see all the nooks and crannies. You can see all the things that are informed by the Lucasfilm archives. This concept of virtual tourism is important to us. If you ever wondered the distances from wet farms to winery? We have an experience for you.”
The story for the Star Wars the game is set between the events of The empire strikes again AND Return of the Jedi. The game is touted as the first open-world Star Wars game and players will be able to explore distinct planets across the galaxy, both iconic and new. The story centers on a female character named Kay Vess, voiced by Humberly Gonzalez. Kay Vess is “an up-and-coming scoundrel seeking freedom and the means to start a new life, alongside his partner Nix. You fight, steal and outwit the criminal syndicates of the galaxy as you join the most wanted in the galaxy.
Star Wars: Outlaws will be released in 2024!
