Here is a trailer for an adult fairy tale adventure film titled Wonderwell, a film set between modern Italy and an imaginary kingdom. The movie was actually shot in 2016 just before that Carrie Fisher she died and has a small role in the film.
In the film, “Awkward, mischievous Violet and her beautiful older sister Savannah are the daughters of an American couple living in Italy. When Savannah gets the opportunity to audition as a model for a famous fashion designer, Violet can’t figure out what all the fuss is about. The family travels together to a large mansion where Savannah is chosen from a group of beautiful girls to become the next great Italian supermodel. Feeling neglected and suddenly invisible, she Violet wanders off into a nearby forest where she meets a mysterious woman (Fisher) who sends her on a mission of discovery. Violet finds a time portal that will transport her to a parallel world where she sees what the future may hold for her. But like the transition from childhood to womanhood, it could be a journey of no return.
The film is the protagonist Rita NowNew arrival Kiera Milward, Megan Dodds, Lloyd Owen, Nell Tiger Free, Vincenzo SpanoAND Sebastian Croft. It is explained that the fairy tale “combines VFX technology with live action to tell the story of a girl who discovers the exciting, funny and often terrifying passage into womanhood through the portal of her imagination”.
