Netflix has revealed a trailer for a new documentary titled Unknown: Cave of Bones, and this looks incredibly fascinating! The doctor follows the paleoanthropologist Lee Berger in South Africa, as he and his team try to prove that the world’s oldest cemetery, which they have found, is not human.
It is explained that “If Lee and his team can show that this ancient, small-brained, ape-like creature practiced complex burial rituals, it could simply change everything we know about hominin evolution and the origins of beliefs.”
This is one of four Unknown documentaries that tell incredible stories of adventure and exploration in majestic uncharted territories. “Each film pushes the boundaries of knowledge, ventures into uncharted regions, and unlocks the secrets of our world through the stories of extraordinary people and places never before captured on camera.”
Unknown: Cave of Bones is directed by documentary producer/director Mark Mannucci. This is the third in the Unknown docuseries event and debuts July 17, 2023. I love this kind of thing!
