Prime Video has released a promotional video featuring footage from some of its upcoming movies and TV shows. Offers a first look at Donald Glove’S Mr and Mrs Smith, Reach season 2, The boys spin-off series Gen Vand more.
Mr and Mrs Smith will be released in November and is “a new interpretation and iteration” of the 2005 film, starring Brad Pitt AND Angelina Jolie as a “couple in a stagnant marriage, living a deceptively mundane existence. However, each has kept a secret from the other: they are assassins working for opposing agencies. When both are tasked to kill the same target, the truth comes out. Finally free of their cover stories, they discover they have been set up to kill each other, setting off a series of explosive attacks.
Reach The second season will premiere in December and comes from the writer and showrunner Nicholas Santoraand is based on the novels by Lee Child. The series follows Jack Reacher, a veteran military police investigator who has just entered civilian life and finds himself involved in some crazy situations, some of which turn violent.
Season 2 is based on the eleventh book in Lee Child’s bestselling series, Bad Luck and Trouble, and begins “when members of Reacher’s old military unit start turning up dead. Reacher has only one thing in mind: revenge.”
Gen V is coming in September and the project is inspired by G-Men, which is a parody of the X-Men comic series in The Boys. “Set in America’s only college exclusively for young adult superheroes (operated by Vought International), Gen V is an irreverent, R-rated series that explores the lives of hormonal and competitive Supes as they push their physical, sexual and moral boundaries for the try, competing for the best contracts in the best cities. It’s part college show, part Hunger Games – wholeheartedly, the satire and vulgarity of The Boys.
