The film was directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green (Joe Bell, King Richard) and written by Zach Baylin, Frank E. FioriAND Terence Winter. The film is the protagonist Kingsley Ben-Adir (Peaky Blinders, secret invasion) as the famous musician and Lashana Lynch (Captain Marvel, There is no time to die) as Rita Marley, Bob’s wife. Bob Marley’s son Ziggy Marley said in a statement:
