Jude Law says STAR WARS is why he became an actor

Judah Law will make its grand debut in Star Wars universe in the next series of Lucaafilm Star Wars: The Skeleton Crewwhich will be a Goonies-like a galactic adventure. Well, according to Law, the reason he became an actor was because of Star Wars. During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, she explained:

“Probably the reason I got into acting was running around a playground pretending I was Luke or Han or Chewbacca or Vader – that was literally what I was playing and acting out as a kid, A\and so being there is both surreal and feels somehow very second nature. And then also slightly out of body.”

Law went on to talk about how Star Wars it played such a big part in his life, and it’s something I think most of us can relate to. He said:

“Star Wars, for me, held a very special place because it was as much a part of my childhood as going to school. Literally as long as I can remember, I remember having Star Wars in my life. They were the toys I played with, they were the toys that my friends envied. I remember one of them had an AT-AT walker and I would never get an AT-AT, so I would go play at his house so I could use the AT-AT walker.”

Now Law can actually play in the Star Wars universe, which seriously must be a good experience for anyone with the opportunity. The series has been described as “a galactic take on Amblin’s classic 80s adventure films.” The story will follow four kids from a tiny planet, who end up lost in the Star Wars galaxy and set out on a journey to find their way home.

The film was presented to Lucasfilm as “Goonies In Star Wars,” and it was explained that while the series stars four children, “it is not a show for children.” The adventure they are on is said to be an intense and dark journey. Jude Law is joined in the series by new arrived Ravi Cabot-Conyers, Kyriana KratterAND Robert Timothy Smith.

The story takes place “during the post–Return of the Jedi reconstruction following the fall of the Empire, the same as The Mandalorian.Law’s character has been reported to be “a teacher and the show is like a field trip in and out of the known Star Wars Universe.” The project is also set in the same universe as The Mandalorian and Ahsoka. The series was created by Jon Watts and will also direct together with David Lowery(Pete’s Dragon, Green Knight), Jake Schreier (Lightning), AND The Daniels (Everything everywhere all at once) with Bryce Dallas Howard AND Lee Isaac Chungwho both worked on the current season of The Mandalorian.
