Kevin Bacon is set to star in a fantastic new series project for Blumhouse Television. It is entitled The guarantor was ordered straight to series on Amazon’s Prime Video. In the story, Bacon takes on the role of an undead bounty hunter, and that’s all I needed to sell myself on the show!
The official description says it “centers on Hub Halloran (Bacon), a bounty hunter in the woods who returns from the dead with an unexpected second chance at life, love and a nearly forgotten music career – only to find that his old job now it has a new demonic twist.
It looks like the project is going to be a lot of fun! It’s an original idea by Grainger Davidwho wrote the screenplay and will also executive produce. Erik Olson will serve as showrunner and executive producer. Jason Blum is also a producer on the project.
Amazon has ordered eight half-hour episodes and production on the series will begin after the writers’ strike ends. This is going to be a big project that Bacon will be a part of and I can’t wait to see how this story plays out!
