Next year, the late actor Chadwick Boseman is ready to receive his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Best known for playing Black Panther in the MCU, Boseman also starred 42, MarshalAND From 5 Bloodand received a posthumous Academy Award nomination for her performance in Ma Rainey’s black bottom. The actor was inducted into the Hollywood Walk of Fame’s class of 2024 on Monday, as part of the film category.
Boseman died of colon cancer in 2020, aged 43. The iconic actor made a global impact bringing Black Panther’s King T’Challa to life in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and portraying black icons Jackie Robinson and James Brown on the big screen.
Oscar winner Michelle Yeoh, Andre Romell Young (“Dr Dre”), Eugene Levy, Kerry Washington, Gwen Stefani AND Chris Pino they are also part of the 2024 class of the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
