Blumhouse has released the first trailer for the highly anticipated film adaptation of the hit horror video game Five Nights at Freddy’s! It looks like the film will provide a time of chilling entertainment in the cinema! I used to play Five Nights at Freddy’s with my daughter when she was younger, she was a huge fan, so there’s a lot of excitement about this movie for us.
The film follows “a troubled security guard as he begins work at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. While spending his first night on the job, he realizes that the graveyard shift at Freddy’s won’t be so easy to complete. You see, there are ghost children who own giant animatronics that they want to terrify.
The film is the protagonist Josh Hutcherson (Ultraman, The Hunger Games), Elizabeth Lail (You, Mac and Rita), Pied Piper Rubio (Holly & Ivy, Unstable), Kat Conner Sterling (We have a ghost, 9-1-1), with Mary Stuart Masterson (Blind spot, fried green tomatoes) AND Matthew Lillard (Good girls, yell).
Five Nights at Freddy’s is directed by Emma Tammi (The Wind, Blood Moon) and wrote the screenplay with Scott Cathon AND Seth Cuddback.
Also, the animatronic characters were created by Jim Henson’s Creature Shop which is a fun bonus! Blumhouse is the production company behind it M3GAN, The black phoneAND The invisible man and they seem to have done a good job with this!
The film will be released on October 27. Watch the trailer and let us know what you think!
