Lionsgate is preparing to step up marketing for the director Kevin Greuter’S I saw X. Yes, a tenth Saw movie is on the way, and all of the franchise’s official social channels have shared the first logo.
Both Tobin Bell AND Shawnee Smith they’re back for the sequel, which hits theaters this Halloween, and it looks like we can expect to see the first trailer for the film this summer during the Midsummer Scream event in July. The logo came with the caption: “Put an X on your calendar. #SawX arrives at Midsummer Scream the weekend of July 28th.

One of the most iconic horror film series comes to Midsummer Scream for the first time this year, as Lionsgate brings SAW to the largest horror convention in the world.
On the floor of the Long Beach Convention Center, an incredible SAW experience invites Midsummer Scream guests to explore the horrific, unnerving and unforgettable world of SAW movies. It is open to guests on all three days of the event.
And on Saturday, July 29, the special guests who helped bring SAW to the screen will take part in a presentation panel offering exclusive and jaw-dropping glimpses into the upcoming SAW X film, hitting theaters this October from Lionsgate.
Lionsgate teased: “Tobin Bell’s return to the franchise furthers Lionsgate and Twisted Pictures’ goal of a film that captures everything Saw fans love about the franchise while also keeping them guessing with new traps and a new mystery to solve.” .
It will be really interesting to see how Tobin Bell’s Jigsaw is used in the film because the character has been dead for a long time.
The cast for I saw X also includes Renata Vaca (Midnight family), Paulette Hernández (Crown of tears), Joshua Okamoto (Ctrl-Z), Octavio Hinojosa (Come and play with me), Synnove Macody Lund (Ragnarok), Stefano Marca (The Sandman) AND Michael Beach (Damer).
From Lionsgate and Twisted Pictures, the new film is set for release on October 27, 2023.
