Pete Davidson’s Peacock series BUPKIS renewed for second season

Peter Davidsonfrom the Peacock series Bupkis it was renewed for a second season. Audiences are obviously enjoying the series, which is a “fictionalized heightened version of Pete Davidson’s real life.”

Davidson plays himself as he attempts to work through unique family dynamics and the intricacies of fame to form meaningful relationships. The show offers an honest but entertaining insight into Davidson’s life, and is wrapped up in a wildly over-the-top story.

Susan Rovner, president of entertainment content at NBCUniversal Television and Streaming, said in a statement, “Pete Davidson is a once-in-a-lifetime talent and what he has created with the first season of ‘Bupkis’ absolutely blew our minds. Pete has the rare ability to make you laugh out loud with his unfiltered brand of comedy, and then cry with his raw and honest vulnerability. We couldn’t be more proud to continue this journey with Pete, Lorne Michaels, Broadway Video and our partners at Universal Television for a second season as we continue to strengthen Peacock’s comedy slate.

The series is also starring Joe Pesci, Ed Falco, Machine gun Kelly, Stefano Buscemi, Charlemagne Tha God, Al Gore AND John Mulaneyand more.

Davidson writes the series with the showrunner Judas Miller as well as Dave Siro. All three serve as executive producers together Lorne Michaels, Andrea Singer AND Erin David.
