Pom Klementieff reveals the only stunt in MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 7 Tom Cruise wouldn’t do

We all know that Tom Cruise he prides himself on having learned to do death-defying acts to get his own stunt work done in his films. He jumps off airplanes, learns to fly jets, rides motorcycles off cliffs and then goes into space, but there was a stunt in his most recent film of his, Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning part onewhich made the actor say “No.”

Actress Pom Clementieffbest known for playing Mantis in Guardians of the Galaxy film franchise, revealed to Entertainment Weekly that the one thing Cruise refused to do on set was kick her in the stomach during a fight scene. During a sequence set in Venice, Paris (Klementieff) gets into an argument with Cruise’s super spy Ethan Hunt, and it was while filming the encounter that the actress asked her co-star to really kick her in the gut .

“I kept telling him to kick me here,” the actress recalled to EW, pointing to her midsection. “I was clenching my abs. [I said], “You can try.” It was like ‘No, no, no, no, no.’ I was like, ‘But it’ll help me!’ But he wouldn’t.”

This is actually kind of eye catching. Cruise is a weirdo, but it’s nice that he didn’t want to kick his co-star in the stomach.

Klementieff describes her character Paris as someone who “destroys everything in her path. She’s a rebel, she’s a killer, she’s extremely skilled and quite lonely as well.”

You can get a glimpse of the villain in all his glory when Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning, first part will be released in theaters on July 12.
