A new trailer for the tennis drama has been released Challengershero Zendaya (Euphoria, Spider-Man: There’s no way back home), Josh O’Connor (The crown), AND Mike Faist (West Side History). The film is directed by the Oscar-nominated director Luca Guadagnino (Call me by your name, Suspiria) from a script Justin Kuritzkes (Tickles). The movie soundtrack was written by Trent Reznor AND Ross penthouse.
The synopsis reads:
“Zendaya’s Tashi Duncan, a former tennis prodigy turned coach and an unapologetic force of nature for her game on and off the court. Married to a champion on a losing streak, Tashi’s strategy for her husband’s redemption takes a surprising turn when she must face the jaded Patrick, her former best friend and Tashi’s ex-boyfriend. As their past and present collide and tensions rise, Tashi must wonder how much it will cost her to win.
Sounds like an uncomfortable story. A love triangle involving two friends is undoubtedly a recipe for disaster. Check out the movie trailer below and watch Challengers in theaters September 15.
