Dan Stevens (The Host, Legion, Downton Abbey) has officially replaced Justin Roland in the lead role of the Hulu animated series Solar opposites, which is returning for a fourth season. Roiland, who co-created the series, was fired from the show earlier this year after it was revealed he was accused of domestic violence. He was also cut from Hulu’s other animated show, Koala Man. The charges against Roiland were dismissed in March, but the streaming services stood by their decision not to bring Roiland back. Probably due to his behavior at work.
Stevens will play the character Korvo in the series described as “a gruff alien who always wears formal wear and professes to hate Earth. He desperately wants to fix their spaceship so he can escape to a new planet.
Stevens joins Thomas Middleditch, Sean GiambroneAND Maria Mack. Season 4 will premiere on August 14, and the show has already been renewed for season 5.
