Another inspired by horror Cinderella the film was announced This is titled Cinderella’s Revengenot to be confused with the other recently announced film, The Curse of Cinderella. These R-rated fairytale movie projects are getting out of hand!
This film centers on Cinderella’s evil stepsisters and stepmother, and they “push her too far, leading her to trade her glass slippers for blood-soaked vengeance with the help of her Fairy Godmother.”
Lauren Staerck (Trust) AND Natasha Henstridge (Species) will star in the film as Cinderella and her wicked stepmother. The film is currently shooting in England with Andy Edwards (Zombie Spring Breakers) for Mark Amin’s Sobini Films.
Amin said in a statement, “Cinderella is the most famous fairy tale in the world. We were able to develop a great horror script that is also a story of women’s empowerment with global appeal.”
The film is also the protagonist Stephanie Loggia, Beatrice Fletcher, Megan Purvis AND Darrell Griggs. I don’t expect much from this movie, but maybe it will surprise me. There is an audience out there for this type of film.
