Sofia Thatcherwho stars in Showtime’s Yellowjackets and the recently released horror film The Boogeyman has joined the sci-fi thriller Company. This film comes from the creative team behind the blockbuster horror film Barbarian and is gearing up for production this summer.
Drew Hancock wrote the original screenplay and is making his feature film directorial debut, and the director of Barbarian, Zach Cregger, is producing the film. Thatcher joins the previous cast Jack Quaid, Luke Gage, Megan SuriAND Harvey Guillen.
There are no details yet on the story the film will tell, but it is being described “as self-contained, and Thatcher will be playing a character who is more than meets the eye.”
This project was originally intended to serve as a sequel to BoulderLight and Cregger Barbarian before the director changed things to focus on his script, Weaponswho is currently going through the casting process.
Thatcher is a talented young actress and it will be interesting to see what kind of character she ends up playing in this one. Hell, it will be interesting to know what the basic plot of the film will be!
