The 12th Annual Conference of the Producers Association of America (PGA) announced the first round of speakers after the last two years as part of Covid. The event will take place on Saturday, June 11 and Sunday, June 12 at the FOX Studio Lot in Century City.

Oscar winner Viola Davis (CEO and co-founder of JuVee Productions; First Lady); senior producer Julius Tenon (president and co-founder of JuVee Productions; first lady); Heavy Animation Seth McFarlane (Founder/CEO, Fuzzy Door, Orville, Ted and Ted 2, family man); Lead Producer Charles D. King (Founder & CEO, MACRO; Judas and the Black Christ, muddy); Tent Creator Dan Lynn (Founder and CEO of Rideback; The LEGO Movie Franchise, Disney’s AladdinNetflix two potatoesCW walker); legendary producer Stephanie Allen (Homegrown Pictures, owner; Hustle & Flow, dear whites); TV Master Betsy Beers (creative partner, Schundaland); comedy leader Mike Farah (CEO, Funny or Die); Senior PI Jason Richman (Head of Media Rights, UTA); innovative producer Mark Kims (Co-CEO of Electromagnetic Productions); Cast and Producer Aml Amin (Executive Producer / Actor – Goalkeeper; ᲛEvent – i can destroy; Producer/Actor – Boxing Day) will be announced soon.

The producer will include panels, Q&A, networking, mentor roundtables, and the return of the Pitch Perfect session, where shortlisted participants stage their projects live in front of an audience of leading producers and executives.

Participants tested at the Mentor Roundtables include: Precision Producer Denise Davis (CEO, Reform Media Group); produced by legend Gary Gotzman (produced by Playtone); Academy Award-nominated producer Fred Berger (President, Automatic; La La Land, rough); Daniels Producer Jonathan Wang (Everything everywhere at once, a Swiss Army man); James Lopez (President/Producer, MACRO); And the herd, with more revelations.

The new feature of this year’s conference is one-on-one producer engagement that connects PGA members to one-on-one conversations with an experienced producer. It is designed to help members get thoughtful advice on specific projects they are running. Additionally, PGA Create, the Producers Guild Program that supports emerging and mid-career creative producers from underrepresented, will for the first time combine 35 PGA Create Screenwriting and Documentary Grants for one-day networking capabilities supported by the Program.
