Disney has released the first trailer for Pixar’s upcoming sci-fi film helium, and will take audiences on an out-of-this-world adventure. The film follows a boy who is abducted by aliens and is mistaken for the ruler of the Earth. It looks like it’s going to tell a fun story and introduce us to some wild and colorful alien characters.
The synopsis reads: “For centuries, people have called the universe for answers, in the newest film from Disney and Pixar helium, the universe calls! The original feature film introduces Elio, a loser with an active imagination who finds himself inadvertently teleported to the Communiverse, an interplanetary organization with representatives from galaxies far and wide. Misidentified as Earth’s ambassador to the rest of the universe, and completely unprepared for that kind of pressure, Elio must forge new bonds with eccentric alien life-forms, survive a series of formidable ordeals, and somehow discover who he is truly destined for. to be.
Yonas Kibreab (Obi-Won Kenobi) assumes the role of the little boy and is joined by America Ferrera as Olga, his mother. She is described as “super confident, smart and able to hold her own in any situation”. The voice cast also includes Jamela Jamil AND Brad Garrett .
helium was directed by Adrian Molin (writer and co-director of Coconut) and produced by Mary Alice Drumm (associate producer of Coconut). It will be released in theaters on March 1, 2024.
