LORD OF THE RINGS: RETURN TO MORIA Gameplay Trailer Narrated by Gimli Actor Jonathan Rhys-Davies

A new gameplay trailer has been released The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria, and teases the grand fantasy adventure that awaits fans. It offers our best look at the game and the best part about the trailer is the fact that it was narrated by John Rhys-Davieswho played Gimli Peter Jacksonit is original Lord of the Rings trilogy.

Players are tasked with rebuilding Moria and will need to gather resources to craft and build their own defenses as they delve into the treacherous mines of Moria.

The game is set in the Fourth Age of Middle-earth and in it Lord Gimli Lockbearer is summoned to the Misty Mountains to take control of a company of Dwarves “charged with reclaiming the lost loot from the dwarven homeland of Moria, known as Khazad-dûm or Dwarrowdelf, deep beneath their very feet Their search will require fortitude, digging deep into the mines of Moria to recover its treasures.

Free Range Games and North Beach Games have announced that the game will be released on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. It will launch simultaneously on PC and the Epic Games Store in Fall 2023.

SURVIVE THE DARKNESS:

To survive the perilous mines of Moria players must conserve resources, hunt and gather food, and manage sleep, temperature and noise levels. Use the dynamic lighting systems for safety and to pave a further path in the dark. Fight unspeakable evils and survive hordes of monstrous Orcs in visceral combat, as you uncover the secret of the Shadow that hangs within the mountain.

BASIC CONSTRUCTION:

Find comfort in the dark. Reveal and erase new locations to create large-scale architecture. Get creative and build foundations from scratch or build on the existing environment. Beware of evils that seek to destroy dwarven progress.

REBUILD AND REFORM MORIA:

Restore the long-lost ancient kingdom of Khazad-dûm to its former glory, recovering dwarven landmarks as the story progresses. Resurrect old mines and rekindle their forges to get their resources intact.

Delve into the depths of the mines of Moria. The procedurally generated environments are rich in resources and full of mystery and danger, offering a unique experience every time.

CO-OP MULTIPLAYER:

Venture alone or join friends in online co-op multiplayer with up to eight players.

CREATE DWARF TOOLS, WEAPONS, AND MORE:

Craft and loot legendary dwarven armor, tools, weapons, and structures. Rebuild ancient forges to strengthen, repair and enchant equipment. Upgrade and unlock new technologies and cool machines.

DISCOVER MAGIC ARTIFACTS:

Discover ancient magical items including swords that glow when orcs are near, maps of long-dormant Mithril veins, books of forgotten crafting plans, and amulets that grant strength or wisdom.

MINERAL AND JEWELERY MINE:

Establish mines to unearth deposits of valuable resources such as iron, gold, and quartz; and fantastical materials like Mithril. Access processing stations and forges to convert ore into ingots and upgrade equipment. But be prepared, mining is noisy and can awaken what lurks in the dark.

FULL NANO BUILDER:

Players become part of the legend of the dwarves as they create their own dwarf in the custom character creator. Dwarves can be customized in a variety of ways to create a unique dwarven identity. So, while playing the game, players can find and craft armor and weapons to further enhance their unique style.
