Evan Peters he is an incredibly talented actor who has had quite an impressive acting career. Throughout his career, he has spent some time playing Quicksilver in several films X-Men movie and Wanda Vision, and many fans loved him in that role. He also recently played Jeffery Dahmer in the Netflix series Dahmer: Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story.

Some Marvel fans have wondered if we’ll ever see Peters in the MCU again, and while we don’t know the answer to that question, the actor is definitely open to returning if Marvel comes knocking. However, he also said that he has stopped playing dark characters like Dahmer. Apparently he cost him a tribute. He told Deadline in a recent interview:

“I’d be in another Marvel movie. Yeah, I think for me, Dahmer was really the last kind of dark character I’m going to play in a long period of time. So it was kind of a salute to that time where I worked hard on things like that, and now I’m going to try to pivot. Anything in the light, I’m just trying to stay out of the dark for a while.”

It will be interesting to see what kind of projects Peters takes on. Let’s hope we see him again in the MCU someday! There are still opportunities to play the version of the character introduced in WandaVision. There’s still so much speculation from fans about that version of Quicksilver, and it’s hard to think they didn’t have something bigger in mind for him going forward.

Previously speaking about bringing Peters into WandaVision as Ralph Boner, producer Mary Livanos said, “The idea of bringing Evan into the universe as this ‘Quicksilver’ really came up when we were trying to figure out the Agatha storyline. Because the villain storyline really needed to make Wanda not sure of her power. At this point in Wanda’s grieving process, we wanted her to be not sure of what she was capable of, what she was doing, her subconscious was behaving again? We wanted Wanda to believe that her powers may be in crisis.

He added: ‘In our studies of grief and bereavement, one side effect we’ve found is that when you lose someone, the details of the memory recall can become blurry. So the idea that they forgot exactly what their face looked like brother, and maybe his powers have acted again, we found it really compelling.

As for why Peters had to be in the role, he said, “We wanted the audience to be as confused as Wanda and so Evan was the obvious choice for that. Even though we knew we wanted to overturn expectations. And so when we brought Evan in and explained exactly what the character was and where he ended up as Ralph, Evan was game. And we are so thankful for that.”

So while Evans used to joke with fans, if they wanted to find a way to bring him back and explore the character a little more, they absolutely could. Would you like to see Peters return to the MCU? Do you think he will?
