After last year’s success The Batmanfans are looking forward to the director Matt Reeves’ next sequel. The film, which is expected to go into production early next year, will follow a new Batman story, which is said to feature Harvey Dent aka Two-Face and the villain Clayface.
Now we have news of the alleged actors in the running to play Harvey Dent/Two-Face in the film. Insider John Rocha has revealed the rumored nominees for The Hot Mic podcast with Jeff Sneider, saying Gotham District Attorney Harvey Dent’s role is due to Josh Hartnett AND Joel Edgerton.
Hartnett is known for film roles in Halloween H20: 20 years later, Pearl Harbor, Black Hawk DownAND Lucky number Slevin. He was previously rumored to be related to Christopher NolanThe Dark Knight trilogy as a contender to play the Dark Knight himself.
Edgerton has already starred in Star Wars: Attack of the Clones AND Revenge of the Sith, Smoking Aces, Dark Zero Thirty, Lovingand most recently the TV series Obi-Wan Kenobi. You have already worked with Robert Pattinson on several films.
Both actors have big roles under their belts, and if they’re both in the running, each of their auditions must have proved intriguing. Robert Pattinson is returning to the sequel to play Bruce Wayne/Batman, e Andy Serkis also returning as butler to Wayne Manor, Alfred.
