Actress Kim Cattrall (Mannequin, Sex and the city) stars in a new trailer for the LGBTQ+ fashion comedy, Fascinating, which is direct on Netflix. Emanate greater The devil wears Prada vibes, as Cattrall’s character is a fashion mogul at the head of a major beauty company and needs an assistant to join his ranks.
“Glamorous follows baby-faced new hire Marco Mejia (Miss Benny), a queer young man who takes a job for legendary CEO Madolyn Addison (Cattrall). Madolyn’s makeup line, Glamorous Cosmetics, is going downhill. Suspecting his business has been sabotaged by someone inside, she hires Marco to look around.
“She wants him to be her eyes and ears, to make friends and find out what’s going on behind her back, to find out what they’re hiding and what they’re stealing. In return, she’ll teach Marco everything he knows, but she warns him, ‘This business isn’t all glitter and glamour, and neither is life,’” reads the show’s official synopsis. The job is demanding, with colleagues constantly at each other’s throats, but it gives Marco a chance to discover who he really is and what it means to be queer.
Miss Benny previously appeared in Fuller house, Dream CatcherAND Doxxed. Their rise to fame came from their Youtube channel, KidPOV which was launched in 2010.
The 10-episode LGBTQ comedy series will premiere June 22 on Netflix. Watch the trailer below:
