Iconic rockstar Gene Simmons is developing a TV series adapted from his comic Gene Simmons’ house of horrors, who wrote. Simmons shared the news during a recent interview with CB, and explained that the project is very inspirational Rod Serlingthe classic series of, The twilight zone. He said:
“For me, nothing touched the Twilight Zone, the acting, the writing, all that stuff. The slasher and a blood guy, I much prefer [psychological horror]. It’s worth noting that some of the more horrific movies like Psycho, you never actually saw flesh pierced by a knife, it was all in your head.”
This is exactly the kind of horror stuff I love. Simmons and I must have a lot more in common than I thought! I’m not familiar with the comic series, but I’ll have to check it out.
The description of the cartoon, published in 2007, reads: “You knock on the door of the old palace on the hill, and who answers? Your host, none other than Gene Simmons, waves you inside. The door slams. You try to escape, but it’s too late… you’ve entered the house of the Simmons Comics Group and there’s no turning back!
Sounds like it could be a really fun series! I hope it actually gets done!
