If you like strategy board games, check it out Anima Mundi by Asail Games. The game is currently seeking funding via Kickstarter and looks pretty fun. It takes its inspiration from popular strategy video games such as Heroes of strength and magic AND Warcraft III and is designed to feature intuitive rules and adjustable game time. In Anima Mundi, 2-4 players will each control one of four factions (Elementals, Humans, Celestial Accord, Alloyed) and send their Champions out into the world to gather resources and battle each other. The last champion standing wins.

An aspect of Anima Mundi Aiming to help give the game virtually unlimited replayability is the fully modular map. You never know what the map will look like, so strategies will have to change every time you play. Each faction has its own playstyle with the Celestial Chord designed for aggressive players, Elementals are more level-headed, Legates employ clever tricks and strategies, and Humans are on the defensive.

Another aspect that I personally appreciate Anima Mundi is that part of the reason it’s on Kickstarter is that Asaeil Games can pay the artist, Ty Grenier. As of this writing, the Kickstarter has more than 25 days left and is making pretty good progress toward its $13,500 goal at just under $5,000.
