Jason Sudeikis says future TED LASSO projects could end up in other media such as podcasts or books

Ted Lasso Season 3 has come to a close, leaving fans wondering if it’s really the end of the series, as the writers and creator Jason Sudeikis himself said in the past. Many of them also said that there is still a lot of story to be told in the show’s universe, but the three season arc that they have decided to tell from the beginning has been done and there is really only one question mark about its future.

Sudeikis recently opened up about the possible future of his beloved show in conversation with a colleague Saturday night live students, Dan Carvey AND David Sword, on their Fly on the Wall podcast. He said of the possibilities:

“Whether it’s about [a book], whether it’s doing episode podcasts to offer those audio commentaries… Just to talk things through and themes. And it would also explain the show in a much more cerebral way than I could ever explain it to anyone. Yes, there are opportunities, I think, for spin-offs.”

I would absolutely love to see the show move forward with more stories, particularly in the television genre. I’d like to see the story of where Keeley and Rebecca left off. I think it would be a great storyline, especially if Roy Kent was involved. I’d be happy to see AFC Richmond in a spin-off, or even just Ted Lasso’s journey. Really, I loved these characters so much, I just want it to continue in whatever capacity.

And you? Would you like to see a specific spinoff within the world of Ted Lasso?
