Many Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fans seem to be excited about the upcoming new animated film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Chaos. From the footage I’ve seen, it looks like it’s going to be a super fun movie!
Now we have learned it Trent Reznor AND Ross penthouse (The Social Network, Soul, Gin Girl, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo) are composing the soundtrack of the film, so we can expect it to have a great soundtrack. This bit of news came from a recent episode of the “Hawk vs. Wolf” podcast.
During the show, iconic skateboarder Tony Falco revealed that the Mutant Mayhem original soundtrack would be composed by the acclaimed duo, saying, “He [Reznor] and Atticus are working on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. When I went there, they were working on the soundtrack for that Seth movie [Rogen] he told us.”
In Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Chaos, after years sheltered from the human world, the Turtle brothers set out to win the hearts of New Yorkers and be accepted as ordinary teenagers through heroic deeds. Their new friend April O’Neil helps them take on a mysterious crime syndicate, but they soon get in the way when an army of mutants is unleashed against them.
When previously talking about the tone of the film, the director Jeff Row revealed what the vibe they were going for was Stand by Me AND Lady Bird. She said: “We wanted it to be like Stand By Me and Lady Bird. But, you know, with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
The voice cast of the film includes Micah Abbey like Donatello, Shamon Brown Jr. like michelangelo, Nicola Cantu like Leonardo, Brady Noon like Raphael, Jackie Chan like Splinter, John Cena as Rocksteady, Seth Rogen like be-bop, Ice cube like Superfly, Rosa Byrne as Leatherhead, Natasia Demetrius like Wingnut, Ayo Edebiri as April O’Neil, Giancarlo Esposito as Baxter Stockman, Post Malone as Ray Fillet, Paul Rudd such as Mondo Gecko, e Maya Rodolfo as Cynthia Utrom.
