Prime Video has released a trailer for its legendary coming-of-age comedy I am a Virgo, which is about a gigantic 13-foot-tall man who lives in Oakland, California. This series looks weird as hell, and that’s why they’re in it! It looks like a very interesting, funny and unique movie!
I am a Virgo is “a fantastic darkly comic coming-of-age journey about Cootie (Jharrel Jerome), a 13-foot-tall young black man in Oakland, California. Having grown up in hiding, spending his time on a diet of comics and TV shows, he escapes to experience the beauty and contradictions of the real world.
As he embarks on the journey of his life, he “makes friends, finds love, navigates awkward situations and meets his idol, a real-life superhero called The Hero, played by Walton Goggins (The hateful eight, the precious stones of the righteous). I am a Virgo is a mythic odyssey that questions the purpose of the mythic odyssey.
The series is created, written and executive produced by Riley boots (I am sorry to bother you), and directed all seven episodes. The rest of the cast includes Brett Grey (On my neighborhood, Star Trek: Prodigy), Kara Young (The Punisher, ), Allius Barnes (PEN15), Olivia Washington (Break), Mike Epps (The Upshaws, Dolemite is my name), AND Carmen Ejogo (True Detective, Fantastic Beasts).
All seven episodes of the Amazon Original series will be available exclusively on Prime Video on June 23.
