I guess we actually got a taste of something similar in Zack Snyder’s DC movies with Batman’s “Knightmare” sequence where Bruce Wayne dreams of an apocalyptic future filled with Parademons and paramilitaries in a world ruled by Darkseid. These images seem to take it to an extreme, though.
