Henry Cavill supports the third season of THE WITCHER and the very dangerous threats in the story

Despite Henry Cavill ended up with The sorcerer, is still excited for fans to watch season 3, and in a recent interview with Netflix’s Tudum, the actor extolled the series and the growing and dangerous threat Geralt, Ciri and Yennefer are facing on the continent. One thing is certain, these characters will face their toughest challenge yet.

Cavill said, “Now, there’s a real threat. It’s genuine; it’s no longer theoretical, it’s practical. And it’s very, very dangerous. They’re walking the lion’s den wherever they go.”

Then there’s the war that’s coming upon them, and when discussing how this will be different for Geralt, Cavill said, “Geralt has been very nonchalant about these threats of war, famine and the end times. It’s like, ‘Look. Been there, done it. It’s not the end of time. It’s just going to be another fight.’ Because everyone’s looking for Ciri, it changes his perspective on things.”

I like the doom and gloom of this epic fantasy series, but there will also be some lighthearted aspects to the story, particularly with Joey Batey’s Jaskier teasing some romance to come.

Batley said: “She’s having her hot girly summer. It’s been really gratifying to see that [his love life] told in a very visual way. [We] ensured that these novels are told truthfully – and with sensitivity and attention, without resorting to stereotyping… We hope we have created something special, a sapioromantic and sapiosexual [connection] this is as flawed as any other relationship on this show.”

The show will also continue to explore Yennefer and Geralt’s relationship, and in regards to that, Anya Chalotra she said, “One thing they can’t deny is their history and the connection that’s inevitable. They’re attracted to each other, but more important than that, they need each other.”

In The sorcerer Season 3, “while monarchs, wizards and beasts of the continent compete to capture her, Geralt hides Ciri of Cintra, determined to protect his newly reunited family from those who threaten to destroy it. Entrusted with magical training by Ciri, Yennefer leads them to the protected fortress of Aretuza, where he hopes to learn more about her untapped powers; instead, they find they’ve landed on a battlefield of political corruption, dark magic, and betrayal. They have to fight back, put everything on the line or risk being lost forever.

The series is also starring Jodhi May like Calante, Bjorn Hlynur Haraldsson like Eist, Adam Levi like sack of mice, MiaAnna Buring like Tissaia, Mimi Ndiweni like Fringilla, Therica Wilson-Read like Sabrina, Emma Appleton like Renfri, Eamon Farren like Kahir, Lars Mikkelsen like Stregobor, Royce Pierreson like Istredd, Maciej Musiał like Sir Lazlo, Wilson Radjou-Pujalte as Dara), and Anna Shaffer like Triss. Newcomers include Robbie Amell (Loading), Meng’er Zhang (StHang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings) like Milva, Hugh Skinner (Mamma Mia here we go again!) as Prince Radovid, e Christelle Elwin (Half Badas) Mistletoe.

The series comes from the producer and showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich who has already shared that next season will adapt Andrzej Sapkowski’S Time of contemptwhich is the second novel in The sorcerer saga.
