Amazon Prime Video has announced the title of the next chapter of Joe AND Anthony Russo‘S Citadel Spyverse it is Citadel: Diana and let’s also take a first look Matilda De Angelis (The ruin) as the central character.
I am currently watching the first season of Citadel, and this is a great action spy series! I was very impressed with it and it’s just so much fun to watch. The series is the protagonist Richard Maden (Eternals) AND Priyanka Chopra Jonas (Quantum) as two secret agents who have had their minds wiped and find themselves on a mission around the world. This is the synopsis:
Eight years ago, the Citadel fell. The independent global spy agency charged with upholding the safety and security of all people has been destroyed by the agents of Manticore, a powerful syndicate that manipulates the world from the shadows. With the fall of Citadel, elite operatives Mason Kane (Madden) and Nadia Sinh (Jonas) had their memories wiped as they narrowly escaped. They have remained in hiding ever since, building new lives under new identities, unaware of their past.
Until one night when Mason is tracked down by his former Citadel colleague, Bernard Orlick ( Stanley Tucci), who desperately needs his help to stop the Manticore from establishing a new world order. Mason searches for his former partner, Nadia, and the two spies embark on a mission that will take them across the globe in an effort to stop Manticore, all while battling a relationship built on secrets, lies, and a dangerous but everlasting love. .
The first series in the global Spyverse franchise wraps up its first season with massive twists and nail-biting revelations, “as Citadel operatives uncover the identity of the mole who brought down the agency at the hands of rival syndicate Manticore. Betrayals will be discovered and questions answered, as the aftermath of the ending will create ripple effects that will be felt throughout the Spyverse.

Citadel: Diana was created, produced and shot locally in Italy, with production wrapping up earlier this year. The series comes from Cattleya (ZeroZeroZero)—part of ITV Studios—and showrunner and executive producer Gina Gardiniwith Richard Tozzi, Marco ChimenzAND John Stabilini also as executive producers and Emanuele Savoini as co-executive producer.
Citadel: Diana is directed by Arnaldo Catinari and developed by Alessandro Fabbri, who is also head writer, and wrote the series with Ilaria Bernardini, Laura Collella, Gianluca BernardiniAND Jordan Mari. As previously announced, other cast members along with Matilda De Angelis include Lorenzo Cervasio, Maurice Lombardi, Julia Piatone, Thekla Reuten, Daniele Paoloni, Bernhard SchützAND Philip Nigro.
