Wes Andersonthe next film project City of Asteroids it looks like it will deliver an incredibly fun and quirky sci-fi story. You know, I’ve always wondered what a Wes Anderson sci-fi movie would be like, and this is it! Now, we just need to see how he would handle a horror film.
Today, we have three new clips to share with you that offer some funny scenes from the film and if you are a fan of Anderson’s work, they are sure to put a smile on your face.
The story is set in a fictional American desert town in 1955. In the story, “the itinerary of a Junior Stargazer/Space Cadet convention (organized to bring together students and parents from all over the country for fellowship and academic competition) is disrupted in spectacular way from world-changing events.”
That world-changing event is the arrival of an alien. The film’s ensemble cast includes Jason Schwartzmann, Scarlett Johansson, Jeffrey Wright, Tilda SwintonAND Tom Hankswith Sophia Lillis, Bryan Cranston, Edward Norton, Adrian Brody, Liev Schreiber, Hope Davis, Stephen Park, Friend Rupert, Maya Hawke, Steve Carell, Matt Dillon, Hong Chau, Willem Dafoe, Margot Robbie, Toni Revolori, Jake Ryan, Fisher Stevens, Rita Wilson, Jarvis CockerAND Jeff Goldblum.
City of Asteroids will be released in theaters on June 17, 2023.
