A new full trailer has been released for the high school basketball drama Peacock Falling starswhich follows the story of LeBron James’ basketball journey through his younger years with his teammates and friends. Based on the book by LeBron James and Pulitzer Prize-winning author by Friday night lights, Buzz Bissinger, Falling stars is the inspiring origin story of a legendary basketball superhero, revealing how LeBron James and his childhood friends became the #1 high school team in the country. This first party would launch James’ breathtaking career as a four-time NBA champion, two-time Olympic gold medalist and the NBA’s all-time leading scorer.

Here is the synopsis of the film:

“In the 1990s, a young LeBron James (Marquis “Mookie” Cook in his screen debut) and his three best friends: Lil Dru (Caleb McLaughlin), Willie McGee (Avery S. Wills, Jr.) and Sian Cotton (Khalil Everage) ) — they were called the “Fab Four”, after the famous Michigan Wolverines “Fab Five” of that era. From the moment we meet them, we realize that this group of friends, under the leadership of coach Dru Joyce (Wood Harris), are connected by more than just basketball. So when the coach of their district’s top basketball school threatens to tear them apart by placing Lil Dru in junior school, the Fab Four decide to switch schools so they can play together, instead joining the team at a predominantly white Catholic school. . The community takes it as an insult, but the boys’ mutual dedication is more important than anything else. With their new coach (Dermot Mulroney), a disgraced former college coach looking for redemption, the boys, along with former rival and new teammate Romeo Travis (newcomer Sterling “Scoot” Henderson), will face battles not just on the pitch but in real life, in their quest to become national champions, they’ll rediscover that what matters most in the game is the people playing next to you.
